I felt kind of empty after finishing this game. I'd just gone on an epic Journey, feeling all manner of incredible emotions. All the loneliness, the excitement when surfing through the sands, utter heartbreak at the loss of the best partner imaginable, the utter terror of being preyed upon by those... things..., the gruelling climb up the frozen mountain, desperately fighting of freezing cold. I finally reached the top and then... what? I'd gone through all that... for nothing?
I think this one is the saddest and loneliest of them all. The big contrast between the whites and blues in the snow and the red of the traveler... He stands out in bold contrast to everything else, small and alone, and probably cold... Very lovely, I really love these pieces.
Relative to, this mountainous landscape it is like in itself a series of the four seasons even if all I have seen are like summer and winter thus far. I think that the fact that this is during a blinding wind/show storm this is more sad an image than the desert; even if both should be sad because your alone in both cases, and you could die in the desert for lack of water, and in the mountains because of hypothermia. It I also depicts the same style as previous as it is meant to be but also the saying, all good things must come to an end, same does a great end in the way you created this image.
This was an amazing game, and sooo happy I found a nice image of it to put on my background, thsnk for this painting! For me the ending was an emotional ride full of beauty, excitement, sadness and confusion.
Oh yeah > > this game can make you emotional very easy. There was many times in this stage with my more experienced companion that I went "NOOOOOOOOO T______T" Only to feel content in the very very end...which wouldn't an end but another beginning 83
Indeed :3 I love playing it with strangers. Sometimes tho, people tend to mindlessly push game forward, without exploring :C I left many red robes along the way because of that [I mostly couldn't keep up] >_>
Hubby played it the first time through that way, just to see the story than later look around. Though the second time I was the one playing and was lucky enough to sync up with my friend XD I told him via cell that if he wanted to see the game and story to go ahead. Cause I was going to look at every inch of every level if possible lol, though when I hit the temple a White Robe was kind enough to explore with me.
My favourite scene so far has been the sand dunes where you slide down from a side view, but you are sliding through a building with pillars and the sands are literally RED with the sun shining so brilliantly behind you while the sand is all sparkly.... not sure if you know the part I'm talking about. x.x The 11th panel from this [link] xD And the cute little serpent bird things are fun to play with. ^^
